Donna Campbell, dynamic Republican candidate for U.S. Congressional District 25 (TX) and an emergency room doctor, joined hundreds of Hays Consolidated Independent School District educators, staffers and supporters at Hays CSID’s annual awareness and fundraising event held on November 21st.
“The teachers, staff and administrators at Hays CSID do a wonderful job preparing our young people for success, and it was heartening to see the overwhelming show of support the district garners,” Dr. Campbell said.
The mother of a toddler, Campbell knows firsthand the value of supporting local schools. “How we fare tomorrow depends on how students learn today. The more support school districts are given by parents— and all members of the community—the more prepared our young people will be to face the challenges of this ever-quickening world.”
Dr. Donna Campbell has both a B.S. and M.S. in nursing and is medical director for two emergency medicine rooms. In April of this year, she announced her candidacy for Congress, vowing to help set the nation back on a course in line with our Constitution, if elected. Explaining why she is running for office, Campbell said: “America is in the emergency room and it’s time to stop the bleeding.”
